1. What are comments? Comments are user-generated text in reference to a specific point
in the video. You can use Comments to add:- clickable table of contents to the video to help your users navigate
and discover the good parts.
- personal or expert running commentary to the video
- foreign subtitles
- captions
2. How do I click around the video? Comments can help you click around to different parts of the video.

If you see the Comment panes below the video, you can click on any of
those panes and the video and comment will play starting at that
point.

You can also put your mouse into the video and you should see a
Comment grid. Click on the little squares and jump to that point in
the video.

3. Can I search? Yes, you can search through Comments in a video. Click on your search
result and it will take you to that point in the video where the
search term is in a Comment.
4. How do I add a comment? When you see something you want to comment on, click the Comment
button at the bottom of the video. The video will stop at that point
and a small window for you to add your Comment will appear.

You will need to create a quick username in order to Comment so that
your Comments will display with your username.

By default, the start time will be the current time in the video and
the end time will be 10 seconds later. You can also optionally edit
the start time and end time of your Comment by clicking on "edit" and
then using the slider or the back and forth arrows.

Note that each Comment must be at least 1 second long.

When you are done, click on your Username in the screen. You’ll
be able to play your comments as a playlist.

If the Comment function does not work, it may be because person who
uploaded the video can determine whether to make the Commenting
feature private, semi-private, or public.
5. I made some comments and want to edit them. You can edit the Comment, as well as its start time and end time.
Simply click on the Comment and click Edit.

Click on the Comment you want to delete and then click on the
"[delete]" link inside the Comment.
6. I've seen other people be able to make their own highlight reel out
of clips from ClickTV. How do I do that? Add your Comments. Then mouse over the video screen and you'll see
your username next to a line of Comments. Click on your username to
play your personal highlight reel of the video.
7. I want to show people only my highlight reel of the video ADD IT TO YOUR BLOG
After you've clicked on your username in the video screen and it's
playing your personal track, click on "blog" and you'll get a piece of
code to put into your blog. That piece of code will show only your
personal highlight reel.

E-MAIL IT
After you've clicked on your username in the video screen and it's
playing your personal track, click on "e-mail" and fill out the e-mail
form and voila. Your friends will get an e-mail link to just your
personal highlight reel.

download or install anything.
3. What about content protection and DRM? Click.TV does not break any digital rights management solution.
Click.TV resides completely outside of the video content and does not
require any changes to your content distribution system. Content
owners have total control over all Click.TV features and the
distribution of Click.TV-enabled content additions. Distributors can
control who (if anyone) can add comments and share video excerpts.
4. Who controls the comments? Web site managers who implement the Click.TV service on their site
retain absolute control over authentication of users and restrictions
on who may comment. For some, restricting commenting privileges to
insiders may be the best approach. Others may want to open commenting
to a handpicked set of outside experts. Others may choose to open it
up to any registered user.
5. How does the Click.TV self-service work? Comments made on videos using Click.TV anywhere on the Web are sent to
the Click.TV database. Partner sites using Click.TV control
authentication of users and decide who may make comments, while
Click.TV manages the central database.
